This hand cream is a new favourite of mine and I’ve gotten friends hooked as well.it really is the best I’ve found for hard working hands that get dried out from gardening and other chores
I'm just finishing up my 2nd tube of this hand cream, and it's honestly some of the best stuff I've ever used. I have *extremely* sensitive skin--I went from being able to tolerate most things labelled for sensitive skin to flaring up at basically everything about a year or so ago. This is so far one of the few hand creams that soothes my dry/cracked skin on my hands, and I've even braved putting a bit of it around my hairline when my scalp is just super pissed off and itchy (thanks, eczema) and it's seemed to calm it down just enough that I can let the itchiness fade to the back of my mind (at least, I'm not flaring up as I do with almost every other product that goes anywhere near my face--even the most gentle--so I'll take it). I'm at the point where I've gotten extras just so I can stash it everywhere in my apartment/bags/everything, because I have a bit of an "out of sight, out of mind" problem and this way I remember to use it!
I'm also really sensitive to fragrances (synthetic ones trigger my asthma, and many non-synthetic ones still cause sensory issues), and have no issues with this! The smell does linger, but it's not very strong and mostly light and herb-y without being pungent or overwhelming. Obviously one person's sensory sensitivities are not another's, but hopefully this helps anyone reading this with trying to figure out if it'll work with them!
I am a dental hygienist (practicing for 26 years) and clinical dental hygiene instructor at a Community College, supervising students and assessing their patient's where I wash my hands literally hundreds of times per day. This hand cream from "matter company" that I happened upon at the Vancouver Circle Craft Fair this past November (2025), has been the very best hand cream I have ever used. When applied, it soaks right into my skin, leaving no greasy or slippery residue like most handcreams I have used (even Aesop which has been my go-to cream), and my hands feel so nicely moisturized and nourished, and I do not feel the need to either wipe off the greasy residue, or re-apply for additional moisture. Love, love, LOVE this product!!!
Best hand cream I've ever had, my hands feel like silk as soon as the cream is applied. Not greasy, no shine, and a light gentle fragrance that even this highly sensitive body can enjoy, lasts a long time after application. My skin loves it.
