Q.
Is it safe to use a decongestant on baby?
A.
There have been reports specifically for the ingredients contained in Vicks Vapor Rub that have been found to cause irritation. Most notably, the ingredient menthol has been found to create increased inflammation to the air passage way, and is not recommended for babies. Our babies own chest rub does not contain the ingredient menthol, or other harsh ingredients. Instead, we use herbs and essential oils that have been used traditionally to help support the respiratory system and are gentle for use specifically on baby.
Q.Can a decongestant be applied under baby’s nose?
A.
It is recommended to use a decongestant under baby’s nose sparingly. The recommended use is no more than 3 to 4 times in 24 hours. A good time to use a decongestant under the nose would be if baby is having trouble breastfeeding due to congestion.

and my kid LOVES it too. It's the 2nd time I ordered it & is becoming a staple during the winter months with all the colds arriving.
I can't say enough good things about this chest rub. When my kids are coughing, congested, and just cant seem to sleep. I rub a bit on their chest and within a few minutes, everyone gets to sleep! I love, love, love, this product. I have repurchased many times!
Great product! I wish I had discovered it sooner. Both my little ones had congestion that would go away. I finally found this and it helped clear it up right away! We all had a better night sleep ;)
This is a great product. I use it all the time when my kids are coughing and have a stuffy nose through the night. It works wonderfully! I've used it on myself too!
