Made with calendula, marshmallow root, and other gentle plant-based ingredients, this soft balm helps moisturize, heal, and protect without the need to wipe off before nursing. A safe, nipple balm that gives peace of mind to mom and baby, plus works just as beautifully on dry lips, noses, and cheeks.

Use as needed to soothe cracked and sore nipples. This product does not need to be removed prior to breastfeeding.
Beeswax: Softening and protective; helps create a natural barrier against moisture.
Marshmallow Root: Calming emollient with anti-inflammatory properties; traditionally used to soothe skin irritation.
Olive Oil: Deeply moisturizing and rich in vitamins A & E; soothing for very dry or sensitive skin.

Why Lanolin-free?

Lanolin is derived from sheep’s skin and is often used in products as a moisture barrier. For some, concerns over trace pesticides and antibiotic residue come into play. Also of concern, are those who have wool sensitive allergies. Substance provides a nipple cream that alleviates such concerns, by using only plant derived edible and safe ingredients.

Winter is here and the grandkids always have chapped lips during the winter months. We’ve used the nipple cream for years to clear up lip dryness. That this soothing cream is designed to be safe enough for nursing babies lets us rest easy using it on their lips.
