ASK THE HERBALIST:

Q.
Can I use this alone as a moisturizer? Will it feel oily on my skin or cause breakouts?

A.
Yes you can use rosehip seed alone or combined with our anti-oxidant facial moisturizer. Unlike heavier oils that are commonly used on the face, rosehip seed oil absorbs easily. It is described as a dry oil, and does not leave an oily residue.
Rosehip seed oil helps to balance and tone the skin. Individuals prone to oily skin and breakouts will find that rosehip seed oil will work to balance overactive sebaceous glands, preventing breakouts.

Q.
What is cold processed?

A.
Cold processing is a method of mechanical extraction where heat is reduced and minimized throughout the batching of the raw material. This helps the oil maintain its original state, constituents, and depth. Cold processed is best as it hasn’t been altered by heat and retains more nutrients.

I've just not been able to keep my skin hydrated with creams. So now I use this product first and it makes my skin glow, and evens out tones. My skin looks fantastic in the morning after having used the night before!

Great product! Highly recommend it. A little goes a long way. I massage a few drops onto my face after cleansing as a mosturizer.
