Comfrey: powerful vulnerary (healing); demulcent; soothing to irritated skin; astringent; wound healing, speeds healing due to constituent of allantoin
Shea Butter: humectant, highly moisturizing, natural sun screen
ASK THE HERBALIST:
Q. How does Shea Butter act as a Natural SPF?
A. It displays a protecting role against UV rays because of its content in cinnamic acid and can thus be incorporated in solar products. The natural humectant contained in shea butter would moreover prevent certain sun allergies and protect against the sun. It is approximately a natural SPF of 5.
Best Lip Balm, I have used this product for years. Tried many others available locally when Matter lip balm was not as accessible but there is no comparison. So now I order it even though I have to pay shipping.

Incredible
Living in a very dry climate, this is the best lip balm I’ve ever used. Bought it at a local art market and was hesitant at the price (Burt’s Bees is half this) but having used it for awhile now, it is so worth the money! Just wish there was a local store that carried it as shipping makes it too prohibited.

Best lip balm I’ve ever used
First tried this a couple of years ago when it came in the “outdoors sampler”. Loved how soft and supple my (previously very dry) lips felt instantly. I was amazed that I didn’t need to reapply it for hours, and the lovely, fresh and natural scent - which also tastes nice, should you happen to lick your lips - is a bonus. I’m now gifting it to several people as stocking stuffers!
